Idle Plant Restoration & Relocation in Ethiopia

A client had an HZS120 plant that had been sitting idle for 1.5 years after a project cancellation. The plant was exposed to weather and in unknown condition. We performed a full condition assessment, dismantled, replaced damaged components, and relocated to a new construction site 50km away.

Challenge: Rust and weather damage to electrical cabinets, seized bearings on the mixer, and missing documentation from the original installation. Several structural bolts had corroded beyond safe use. The project required a mix of restoration (new bearings, rewiring) and relocation.
